Android OS has been attacked by Viking Malware

NEWS- A newer type of malware named Viking Horde has reportedly attacked the android OS. This malware infects some applications contained in the Google Play Store, including the Viking Jump, Parrot Copter, Memory Booster, 2048 Simple and WiFi Plus, as quoted from Cnet and Detikinet, Wednesday (5/11/2016).

Android devices infected Viking Horde will become part of a botnet that at any time they can use for various functions, one of which perform distributed denial of service (DDoS). Moreover, this malware can also make fraudulent advertising, which is forcing the infected mobile phone users to click on ad links. Viking Horde not only infects Android devices that have been rooted, also not yet rooted.

Currently, most applications are infected Viking Horde still exist in the Google Play Store. Thankfully, the infected applications that have relatively low ratings, which are less popular.
